    1. Thank You! I am still learning how to take decent photos and this stand IS helpful to me! I got it at Michaels and it was around $3 or $4.

  5. Hi, just found your link over at Cathy's Card spot, and came over to join as your newest follower. Love, love your beautiful alcohol inked butterfly. It's simply stunning against that white embossed background and the sunny mat behind it. Great design. TFS & I hope you'll visit me when / if you have time.

  6. I am just learning with the digi stamps. I use an inexpensive Canon Pixma inkjet. When I plan to color with Copics, I print (with Xpress paper or Neenah because I don't like wasting my copic ink on GP. I don't think the finished results are as nice). I heat set the lines or let it dry for a bit. I think the smearing won't be a problem if your printer settings are not to heavy. I had a little problem early on, but when I experimented with the printer settings - how much ink is output, then the smears were not a problem. It's fun, and I don't have to find storage for a stamp. And I especially love the DeeDee digis, because they are cute, without being 'cutesy'. It is wonderful to have the pre-colored images when I need to do a fast card, as I'm a slow cardmaker. When I color with copics, I take a while to color, as I don't work rapidly. Give the digi's a whirl. I'll be happy to help with anything I know, but I'm learning too! Glad if you enjoyed your visit to my blog. Come again when you have time. Hugs & Happy wkend.

    1. Thank you for the information! I'll give it a go. Work keeps me busy - not always enough time to play! I am a slow card maker, too. It's okay - Nice when we come up with cards we're pleased with!!! Have a great weekend!

  7. I absolutely LOVE butterflies. Your card is spectacular. It is colored beautifully and the card in general is excellent. Sorry it took awhile to return but the obligations of summer have kept me busy. - Jim
