You are facing something that is out of your comfort zone, but you are sure you must proceed. You don't know the outcome. It could be good and it could be bad, but you know you can't draw back in fear, so you move forward.
Have you ever said, "I know what I am capable of, I can screw this up!"
God says, "Yes, but do you know what I am capable of?
Philippians 2:13
For it is God who is producing in you both the desire and the ability to do what pleases him.
2 Thessalonians 1:11
So we keep on praying for you, asking our God to enable you to live a life worthy of his call. May he give you the power to accomplish all the good things your faith prompts you to do.
Ephesians 3:20
Now to Him who is able to do infinitely more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us,
2 Corinthians 9:8
And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that in all things, at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.
So, it's not about me screwing this up....it's about look what the Lord will enable those who are willing to do by His abounding grace and power.
Hebrews 3:20-21
Now may the God of peace— who brought up from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great Shepherd of the sheep, and ratified an eternal covenant with his blood—may he equip you with all you need for doing his will. May he produce in you, through the power of Jesus Christ, every good thing that is pleasing to him. All glory to him forever and ever! Amen.
Look what the Lord will do!
Amen! So encouraging to read these promises and assurances. He knows we need them! We are relying on You Lord, and will take You at Your Word. Transform our thinking as we meditate, and hold to Your teachings.
